MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD
I loved it (obviously).
It was a such a unique idea that was executed wonderfully. Each character was memorable and I was able to connect to each of them in their own way.
I really, really liked how each of the character's time period seemed to connect with themselves as a character. A Viking? A peasant girl from London? Even Septimus's character was built on his past.
I loved the writing and Mitchell's perspective. As a reader, you could feel his pain and longing to change his death. And in all honesty- who wouldn't want to change their death? Give themselves 5 more minutes to say goodbye or ‘I love you'?
And that ending! I was curious to see what would happen. I figured the Skin-Walkers had something to do with Medusa, but didn't see that coming. I'm really excited to see what Hosie does next with The Devil's Dreamcatcher.
Well, October, here I come.
