Holy shit this was a very overwhelming story to read and take in. I was so on edge and disturbed by this! (Not in a bad way) The diary entries were really interesting and flew right through them. I'll admit I felt really bad for Ruby, for her to go through so much in her lifetime of having a dad that's a serial killer and bullied for being “different” I don't know whether to blame her or her father for the way she is because both her parents were messed up. Ruby lived in a macabre life. So much gore and violence, my mind could not stop thinking about this even in my sleep! Her love for her father runs so deep she's willing to do anything to protect her father but I never expected the unexpected! (If that makes sense lol) I didn't know what to feel at first when I read the beginning but then it just really interesting where I wanted to know more and more of what's going on in Ruby's mind, what she has to say to her diary. Thank you Netgalley and L.A. Detwiler for this digital arc for an honest review! 4/5 ⭐
