One sentence synopsis... Two philosophical essays about Huxley's experiences with mescalin and reflections on art and religion. .
Read it if you like... drugs. .
Further reading... “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas” for fun trip tales, or “How to Change Your Mind” for the science of psychedelics.
I Like Door of perception. He write beautifully on his use of Mescalin. The second book was slow though I do love his thoughts on shiny things and the other world.
Aldous Huxley takes mescaline and writes about it. Nothing wrong with that.
