If you love old-school gangster movies with a humerous twist, this is the book for you. The Drop gave me all the feels of those kinds of movies, which I love.
This was a super quick read for me as I love this author's writing. The story itself is fun and even though I knew what the double-cross was, it didn't take anything away from the story overall.
I especially love that whatever could go wrong with the kidnapping, did. It made for a really fun break between my other reads and I wholeheartedly recommend this one for historical fiction fans.
I sincerely appreciate the author and By the Book VBP for providing me with a review copy. All opinions expressed herein are mine and mine alone.
