The eyes of darkness

This was my first Dean Koontz book and I was intrigued but not completely satisfied. The beginning of the story was very drawn out and very descriptive. Then the story was rushed as it met the climax and left me wanting more. I gave the book 3 stars as the storyline of the government secrecy was interesting but lacked a complete thought.
