This was blurbed by Renée Ahdieh. I'd read the dictionary of she told me to. This better surpass all expectations.
Holy crackers am I mind-boggled. Jessica Khoury weaves a fantastical story of everyone fighting to get what they want. It's too amazing to really put into words. Just READ IT.

This is a cute YA Aladdin retelling where the genie is a girl. This book has a forbidden romance element and lots of misconceptions that the two need to clear up. Very immersive and well written.
Begitu membaca blurb nya bahwa ini sebuah retelling langsung deh masuk wishlist, mengingat buku retelling terakhir yg kubaca, Wrath & The Dawn bikin baper habis.
Suka dgn penuturan si jinni Zahra disini, dia bisa mengabulkan 3 permintaan dari si pemilik lampu, yaitu Aladdin. Aladdin & si Jinni punya agenda masing2 & akhirnya saling menolong untuk mewujudkan agenda mereka. Pd akhirnya hal yg tdk terelakkan Aladdin & Zahra saling jatuh cinta.
Namun ada bbrp permohonan yg terlarang, yaitu jika si manusia mengorbankan diri demi untuk membeli kebebasan si jinni. Tiap permohonan sll ada harganya.
