An old favourite, I first read this in my early twenties and it blew my mind. Every time I pick it up it feels like a different book and I wonder if I'll ever stop learning from it. This isn't the bog-standard dry and predictable collection of proscriptive card meanings, this is a deep dive into the theory, mythology, theology, and philosophy behind the tarot. It is inspiring and provocative and nothing less than pure magic.
