The Golden Hour
2019

L.M. Halloran is one of my favorite authors, so I was very excited to get my hands on this book. Plus, I really liked Finn in her Illusions Duet. However, as I keep whining in every review about, I am currently in a HUGE book funk, so I was also nervous that this funk would affect my feelings for this book. Well, I am happy to report that I enjoyed this one a lot. Maybe not quite as much as some of her other books. I thought this one was surprisingly tame and vanilla. But it was a well-written and well-paced book. The plot kept me engaged. The little “twist” took me completely by surprise. There was no OW or OM drama. It had a small, but interesting cast of secondary characters. Both Finn and Callisto were likable, and it wrapped up in an “OK” happy for now. Two thumbs up from yours truly. BLOG FACEBOOK TWITTER PINTEREST BOOKBUB
