I just finished The Good Doctor by Jessica Payne @jessicapaynewriter and here is my review!
Chloe finally feels like her life is on track. Her fiance Elton is a dream come true. They just bought a house and she starts a new job.
Everything is perfect until she sees him. Jameson is here... Her ex husband. A man she fled from years ago. She will never forget that day.. The day her brother died and the roles they both played in it.
The day when everything changed and she saw Jameson for who he really was.
He holds all the cards now and he has many questions he wants answered and he isn't going to take no for an answer.....
This book!! GUHHHHH. This book had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. It's one of those thrillers that run you up and down on both sides and shake you like a can of whipped cream. So much to unpack here! The book is told from Chloe and Jamesons POV and it is so well done! You never quite know what's what until the end and I can honestly tell you, I had no idea who it was at all!! Love books that keep you right on your toes the whole time!
Loved the plot, I am a huge Greys anatomy fan so I was already excited for this book and being one of Jessica's fans already, my expectations were through the roof! I don't want to spoil anything so I won't say too much but I really loved all the twists and turns in this one.
You could literally feel the fear Chloe was feeling the entire time. It climbed slowly up the back of my neck and my heart was pounding like a drum! It was tangible and delicious, the kind of book I didn't want to end but I had to know how it was going to end.
If you love a solid psychological thriller that will have you turning pages faster than a tornado, then this has to be next on your list!
Thank you @netgalley and @bookouture for my gifted copy! OUT NOW!! RUNNNNNN haha
