The good Muslim a novel

My main gripe was the pace was too slow for my tastes. I didn't really become interested until about 2/3 of the way through, and that was mainly to see what Zaid's fate would be. It isn't poorly written necessarily, it just didn't grip me as much as I would've liked.

3.5 really.

Beautifully written. I just occasionally lost the flow a touch by the use of Bangladeshi terms which I did not understand - my fault really.
