It was so nice to hear some familiar character names from the Cedar Cove series. I loved those characters and miss them. I must have started to read this book and for some reason never finished it. I recognized at least half of the book.
Jo Marie recently lost her husband and is trying to make a new start. She bought a bed and breakfast in Cedar Cove and hoping to make some new friends around town. Her first two guests both seem to have some trouble they are dealing with but she does her best to be cheerful. She meets a gruff handyman who is going to build a new sign and put in a rose garden for her. She meets Grace Harding who of course, talks her into adopting a new dog from the shelter.
