What does it mean to live–really live? In “The Journey of Desire”, Eldredge explores life from a Christian perspective. Or maybe I should say from the perspective of someone who is in a deep relationship with Christ. There are many misconceptions born from a desire for piety and holiness that can leave us empty and broken, but Christ promised us all the life eel could handle. This book challenged me again and reminded me where I need to focus.
