The Kind to Kill

I am really loving this series. Police procedurals are a favorite of mine to read. The Kind to Kill isn't just about crime though, it's also about emotional healing and trauma that sometimes comes with the job. The author does a great job showing the emotion and pain behind the badge, as well as the tension and day-to-day to solve the case.

I still need to go back and read book 1 and 2 since I started out of order but I do love that these can be read standalone. This is a good one for any fan of serial killers, crime fiction and police procedurals.
