The King's Horrible Bride

Yet another one I haven't rated yet...

I'd give this a 4.25. I loved the characters and the storyline between them...the “hey, I'm a regular girl and not sure I can do this princess thing” was delightful. And the main man did so much maturing just in the space of the book.

I had a little trouble getting into it at first, and then fell for the characters big-time. However, I had a hard time swallowing the whole glow-in-the-woods part; even though it was a cute discovery, it distanced me from the “realness” of the story, which is exactly why I don't read fantasy.
