The Last Move

This book deserves the full five stars; what a great story filled with suspense, mystery, and surprise.

We find FBI agent Kate Hayden called back to her hometown of San Antonio Texas when copycat murders of two serial killers she nabbed in the past surface. Kate soon discovers that a former boyfriend from her childhood may be behind the murders, she has not seen William since he shot her and killed her father in a fit of teenage rage some 18 years before.

With the help of her temporary partner Detective Mazur she uncovers a dark secret that not only William held but one of the victims of the murders that brought her home. I really had to dampen down that review because there is just so much we uncover that cannot be said without ruining the entire story. I loved this book and was so engrossed in it. I highly recommend this read!
