The Last Victim

The Last Victim

1999 • 175 pages

This book was an emotional ride especially since I leaned that the author committed suicide. This book is a very raw exposure to the detailed discussion between the author and several serial killers. The fact the author created personas that acted as bait to draw them out and then hearing the killers own words from their letters offer a unique insight into their mindsets and motivations.

After reading this book and knowing the authors tragic end, makes the books title even more appropriate. After reading the discussions of the emotional impact to himself, his family and friends, I can't help but relate his death to those sick killers with him truly becoming their “Last Victim”.
