I loved it! It's fast-paced, and the way it wrapped up was surprise after surprise. I liked both Sabrina and Clay, but also loved the glimpses of Clay's family, Sabrina's grandmother, and the foster kids she is working to help.
This is one of my favorites of Eason's books so far.

If you're a fan of romantic suspense, you will enjoy The Lawman Returns by Lynette Eason. Filled with twists, surprises, mystery, and broken family ties that need mending, it's sure to keep you flipping pages until you discover whodunit.
As always, Lynette drops you right into the action, eases up the fast pace just long enough for you to catch your breath, and then takes you by surprise all over again. She's really a master craftswoman, and if I ever attempt to write romantic suspense, it's her books I'll be studying to learn the art of pacing in the genre.
Though Jordan wasn't in the book much, he was my favorite character. He'd made mistakes in his life, but he was trying to improve his ways. The thing that drew me to him the most was his motivation. He wanted to protect his little brother and sister. There's something about that sibling love that gets me every time.
I'm looking forward to reading the next two books in the Wrangler's Corner series very shortly.
This is my honest, unpaid review.
