The lifeguard

The cover and synopsis make it sound like a great, girly beach read. It is not. The story does not progress. The main character is just a whiny teenager with really no redeeming qualities. I had to put it down I couldn't force my self to read anymore... I gave it a fair chance, I read 1/3 of it.
