A wonderfully, lighthearted read.
I loved the characters and the sense of community around Nutcracker Lane! I loved how all the shop owners came together to save something that meant so much to them all.
I enjoyed the humour in the book. There were plenty of times when I ended up laughing out loud.
Thank you to Jaimie Admans, NetGalley and publishers HQ Digital for the chance to read this book.
Would definitely recommend for anyone who loves lighthearted, Christmasy reads.
Nutcracker Lane has been a magical Christmas wonderland for decades but lately, with “Scrooge” cutting the budget, people have forgotten it's there.
When Nia finally gets her application approved to open her shop on Nutcracker Lane she hopes, somehow, the lane can be restored to its once former glory. Will this be the year for Christmas miracles?
I really loved this one. It is so packed full of the Christmas spirit and people coming together to share that spirit with no expectations in return. I laughed a lot and even teared up a few times. Another perfect Christmas read.
