3 stars I have a bit of a problem with this book. It's not bad, but it's not good either. The representation is great (own voice author!) and Lily is a beautiful little cinnamon roll with a vibrant personality and debilitating ADHD. After breaking the vinyl wall separating two classes, she falls in love with Abelard, the boy who she hit with she was 5 (LOL) and has Asperger. I love the idea, but the writing was a little weak, IMO. Lily reads like she's 12 and it gets annoying at times. Also, why did she have to reference to her ADHD (because - ADHD) in pretty much every pages? Overall, I'm glad I read it, but I was probably too old to fully enjoy this novel. It had so much potential and I was expecting a little bit more.
