I could have used a bit less of the book going back to detailed events in the past and more of the present day happenings but overall, this fast-paced book kept my attention as I tried to figure out what had happened all those years ago that led to the current dilemma. A lot of characters to keep up with but I was rooting for the couple at the center of it, hoping they would find their way back to each other and also hoping against hope that Dorothy Miller's death would not go unavenged.
