The Mate

3.5 stars. Read last night after I finished the Rogue.

So this series is the series that provides the background of all the political stuff I read about in the Rogue but I still think I should've read this after I finished the spin off since that was the publication order. This was REALLY short and we missed all of the action. I'm hoping we don't always stay with the hero and heroine in a remote cabin while the war/battle is happening in every single book.

BUT this was free and super short so I didn't hate it. I'll probably get the other books in this series soon and maybe it'll make me like Ladon since he seems to be a major character here!
