The Merger

Unfortunately, I didn't like this one as much as the previous book in the series. It had some cliché OW drama that I am SO over in romance books at this point. I also thought Connery was a douche. He let Abbi (the OW) WAY overstep all the time. She literally walks in on him having sex ALL THE TIME, and calls the heroine a “whale,” and he doesn't fire her or anything??!! Finally...the epilogue was just...wierd.



On a more positive note, the writing was still excellent. It was a quick and well-paced read. I very much liked Bexley. The sex scenes were hot (although I was expecting a bit more kink). So even though this one didn't exactly tickle my pickle, I am still onboard and can't wait to see which of the guys buys his HEA next!
