I do confess that I am a bit of a Bible collector. I the ones I have and for different reasons each. Now I am very glad to have a very new and entirely unique one to add to my studies. Once, I took it upon myself to try to go through the Old Testament and underling every time it said, “God spoke,” or “the Lord said.” It was a huge undertaking and I never completed it. Now this Bible provides me with something even better. Every mention of God is in a very attractive sepia tone against the black of the rest of the text. So, it accomplished the highlights that were my goals as well as integrates all of the terms and titles originally meant and transliterated to allow one more chance at getting back to the inspiration without reading it in the original languages. This already makes this Bible so valuable to me. But there is so much more than that. The Name Pages allow you to go further in study and understand the meaning. The introductions to each book of the Bible are some of the better I have ever read. Actually interesting and written in an engaging manner I could see reading this during a Bible class and starting sparks of interest with even a child.
