Livia is back and she has demons to exorcise. A senior Homeland Security agent enters her life asking her to join him in tracking down top members of the sex-slave trade in Thailand. She distrusts his motives but agrees explore the idea. Anyway, she needs to go to Thailand, where she has unfinished business that has been gnawing on her. So why not?
Unknown to her, former marine sniper Dox is also operating in the area hunting the same people for other reasons. Their paths will cross and things will get very violent. The most important question for them is ‘Who can you trust when survival is on the line?'
Good action thriller. As usual with a Barry Eisler book, the body count is high.
Eisler does a very professional narration of his own book. He is a multi-talented fellow.
4+ stars.
