The Other Inside

This book was a page turner for me, could not put it down. I loved everything in the book, the changing of back in the past to the present as well the two main POV, Billie and Clare! Each chapter left a cliffhanger that left me wanting more....I kept going, reading more dark secrets unwrapped and the development of how this Other became. There were happy moments or scenes nor a happy ending which I would not have expected. The way he struggled internally with the Other shows how much he (Billie) has morals and emphatic about his actions, the Other though needs to feed, for survival; even if it means murdering to live. Its a conflicting life to live and to carry the heavy burden everywhere you go. The horror and gore was so descriptive, it left shivers up my spine. I do have to say I wanted to know one important thing that wasn't mentioned in the book, if you've read this, you know what I'm talking about. I'm left with a book hangover when I finished this. If this were a book series I'd definitely would keep reading this! 5/5 ⭐
