The Other Merlin

I picked this up dubiously because although Arthurian legend intrigues me in premise, I often find it quite dull. This book was the complete opposite! I flew through it, reading the majority in one sitting, and wanting to cancel my plans to finish it. This had everything I wanted from humour, a great buddying romance, excellent characters and world building. The intrigue was high throughout. One of the highest compliments I can give is saying how if gave me all the feels - laughter (out loud!), warmed my heart, palpable dread, tingly at the sexy times and in awe with the author. My main complaint, I want to consume the whole story straight away!!!!!
