The other Domino decorating books I really liked. But I wasn't much of a fan of this one. There weren't enough practical nuggets of knowledge—it was more about what the author liked and preferred. I did like her voice, but the content felt biased. The illustrations were pretty, but I had trouble envisioning what the rooms truly looked like since they weren't realistic. I also have to agree that it is more targeted towards those with means. She says not to skimp on linens, couches, bedding, shower curtains, scented candles, just about everything. Not everyone can afford Italian linen sheets or luxury potpourri. Also, not everyone's home has space for big beds or foyer tables. Overall, it was just okay.
