The Prospect of Change

I'm going to be honest here - and post this up for future me.

I don't know how I got this book or why I got this book. I have absolutely no memory of wanting to read this book, but there it is on my kindle app.

I cracked it open for the first time today and appreciate the very important author warning at the beginning of the book that it contains dub-con. I thought I'd do a little looking into the book - however Goodreads isn't helpful in this case because every review is a high rating and those are usually simply not as helpful.

So I went to read about the first in this series of which this is somehow the seventh of - and me still not knowing how I came across it - only to find that literally every other book in this series is a het romance. And I have frequent and prolific issues with the gay romance novels written by het romance authors.

Due to these two facts, I am giving this book a head-scratching pass. (And maybe I'll eventually figure out how and why I got this book.)
