A warrior needs a quest. But this quest requires a sacrifice that may be too great to bear. A childhood under the thumb of a harsh ruler might ruin some people, but Sasha is a warrior. She may be suppressed now, but she'll bide her time. Her budding friendship with the future King of the Sea also gives her hope that she'll one day have the strength to throw off the chains binding her. But with age comes new perspectives and Sasha soon learns of a curse upon the land. Neither she, nor her people, will ever be free from it unless someone - unless she - makes a journey no-one would want to make. It's hard enough preparing for her quest, but once Sasha sets off, she realizes sacrifices must be made. Betrayals will follow and Sasha will have to risk everything to achieve the impossible - to free her land from the curse. But will she be able to obtain forgiveness for her actions from the one person who has always shown her kindness?
