Banff, Scotland in the 1620s. A young man walks unsteadily through the streets. Is he just drunk or is there something more sinister happening? I really quite enjoyed this book! The story is rich with detail and emotion, and suspense. A wonderfully detailed account 17th century Scotland with a great cast of characters. A wonderful debut novel and I look forward to reading more from this author!!
