3.5/5 - Is it possible to enjoy a book and hate 3/4 characters, because that is how I felt about this book. All the characters were insufferable besides Fox as he had his head on a swivel and saw the BS. Joy's personality was so over the top, but I took it as a defense mechanism for how she felt about herself. At first, I didn't understand how being asexual worked with both her and Malcolm, but the more she explained it in the book, the more I understood where they were coming from, so I appreciated the educational element of it. Malcolm sucked and I am not sure what Joy saw in him, but I'm glad she saw the light and decided to choose better. Malcolm was a type A prick with a stick up his butt with a nasty, childish attitude. He and Summer deserved each other. The huge miscommunication between both Joy and Malcolm blew me. They made it seem like they were always honest and upfront with one another. If that were the case, you both would've discovered you were in love with the other sooner rather than 10 years later. One more thing, I learned through this book that I loathe the social media influencer trope.
