The plot was interesting and that's mostly what I look for in this sort of book. It could have used more editing as there where typos and clumsy writing. I'm pretty sure dirigibles can't do some of the things the author had them doing.
This story is quite scattered, and the wide use of wealth to solve issues is a bit of a lazy trope.
Extremely wealthy and can buy anything.Falls in "love" after about 48hrs of spending time with a beautiful woman.Outsmarts dozens of mercenaries, and outswims SEALs.
While the story is entertaining enough, the book would have benefited a lot of more editing and proof-reading. The sheer number of typos and grammar mistakes were distracting.
I am sure Mr. Cartwright knows his tech stuff, but I felt the level of technical detail regarding everything sailing, diving, piloting a helicopter etc. was unnecessary and didn't add much to the story.
