The Secret of Spellshadow Manor

Normally, I don't read books that start off with a comparison...IF YOU LIKE HARRY POTTER, YOU'LL LOVE etc etc...Which was the case with this book. However, I read the synopsis (the book kept on getting recommended) and surprise, surprise..It didn't suck. It was a bit draggy at one point and I thought this the book was going to be too long (not in the sense of size but in the sense of it taking way too long to get to the point). Surprise again!!....CLIFFHANGER. I am definitely going to read the second part. I enjoyed it enough for that....But I'm not comparing it to Harry Potter because no.
