This book was amazing! McKenzie gets a sword! I am pretty sure she lost it, and then she gets a dagger. But then she had the sword again later. Or something. There was so much drama between her and Aren. Oh myyyyyy.

This book she is searching for her friend Paige, and it turns out Paige is searching for her. We meet Naito's brother. Some conspiracy theories come to light, which I was LOVING, and then the love triangle drama between Aren, Kyol, and McKenzie at the end. It was phenomenal. And I despise love triangles! Poor McKenzie. I really love Aren, but Kyol has begun to grow on me. Sometimes he still feels like a salamander tail, but I guess its hard to break years of training.
