This author loves scary stories and ahave brought a collection together from all over the world! The illustrations are also really great and fitting tone for the book, spooky!

The author's note is also rather touching where she addresses the changes in the book - like the mermaid story having deaf character (ect) and lgbt+ representation! It's actually a really welcome change to feature people who don't get to be set in classic fairy tales.
