Another un-put-downable thriller from Carol Goodman. Some plot twists you can see coming, especially if you've read some of her books before. But it was still engrossing.
I liked the alternating POV chapters. It kept me going, to know what was happening with the other character. The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown was like that too.
I know these “reviews” are short. I don't like recapping the book, because you can get the blurb from Goodreads or wherever. And I don't want to give any plot points away, in case you want to read it. I like sharing what I'm reading.
I'd have to say this is a mid pick for me, in terms of overall Carol Goodman books. It's not her best (The Lake of Dead Languages), but it's not her worst.
