DNF - PG 14 (though it felt like at least twice that)

Why?

Because, for as much as I wanted sapphic pirates, this is rubbish. I've read 14 pages and made 18 notes on my kindle. And only one of those could even partially be considered complementary. Celia is so unlikable, and she almost deserves her ass of a fiance - only almost, though, because no one would deserve him. The men in the book CONSTANTLY leer at the women, objectifying them. (This is problematic enough, but I'm guessing most readers are here for the women, not the skeevy men. And they are skeevy.) And there's a healthy dose of head hopping. (Which is something that I can not overlook.) Some of the writing doesn't even really make sense to me. I'm just done. I, honestly, thought I'd read more of the book than I did, which goes a long way in telling you how bad I found it. (And doesn't tell you at all how disappointed I am. But I am super disappointed.)
