The Tea Rose

This book was recommended by a friend and I enjoy it immensely. I love strong feminine characters and the heroine in this book is just grand. I also loved the voice in this book as the characters English cockney accents were front and center. The author kept it real and you feel like you are experiencing the time and place that they are living. I also liked that it revolved around tea, such a different way to experience the time period. You learn a bit about it all while rooting for the characters to make it big!!
