The Unheard

Unfortunately, this was a DNF for me. I really tried with this one and made it about 50% through, but it was such a slog, I could not continue. The writing was dull and repetitive, and the pacing was SO slow. There was nothing to hold the reader's attention, no interesting revelations, and not one likable character in the bunch. Sadly, this was my first Nicci French book and I would be hesitant to read anything else by them going forward.
