A World War Two thriller about a labor camp prisoner who stumbles upon the body of a murderred Gestapo officer. With only hours left until his transport to a fdeath camp, he sees the dead man's uniform as his last chance to escape. The challenge: Repairing the gashed and bloody tunic under the noses of his SS captors.

An incredible story! A lot of action in a relatively short number of pages. I found myself feeling for all of the characters, though of course I was always rooting for David and could not justify Leibig and Petra's actions. I'm hoping to read more from G. Gruen in the future!
