The Widow Next Door

I honestly didn't love it as much as I did with digital arc copy I got: The Diary of a Serial Killer's Daughter. It was slow and moreoverly sad. There were some mystery and suspense aspects of it, towards the end that is. The very beginning I found abit very annoying, with the old lady widow because it nipped at my nerves how she overthinks it was her business to know the couple's lives...towards the end is what got me hooked, it made sense to me why and what happened; the horror and thrill in the end. I had anticipated this to be very suspenseful and chilling but it was a letdown for me in a way. I enjoyed reading this though and love the style of this author's work!
