The Widow of Rose House

This was a much longer read than I was anticipating and I was worried that it would be too historical and not sexy enough for my general romance novel taste, but it ended up being like a nice, romantic fiction novel. I think you have to be interested in a longer, more story-based romance to come away loving this book but it's very accessible. The hero and heroine have some adorable chemistry, and there's just enough of a Real Problem that doesn't simply hinge on silly Big Misunderstanding (my pet peeve with a lot of romance.) Great debut for this author.
