2.5 if I were feeling generous, which clearly I'm not. Lots of stupid and childish characters, including the villain, which made for an annoying twist. Also, so unbelievable it almost sounded like laziness.
This is a thriller about a woman who fainted on her wedding day and she doesn't really remember exactly what happened. 10 years later, on her anniversary, weird things begin to happen.
And very conveniently, everything just comes back to her. Randomly, 10 years later, her memory just conveniently comes back. It just feels a little lazy to me.
I will say though, i enjoyed the simplistic writing, it's very easy to get into. The British setting was fun, and also the protagonist had a great voice. She felt like a very realistic character, easy to relate to, and likeable.
There was probably 1 or 2 plot twists, but overall this was a pretty bland, straightforward, predictable thriller. If you read a lot of thrillers you will be bored, but if you're a beginner thriller reader, this might be a good fast paced book.
