I hadn't heard any of the previous stories about Chris McCandless. So all of this was new to me. I really appreciated approaching the story this way. I don't know how I might have viewed him approaching the story from a traditional way. This way I can appreciate the entire person and the history he went to Alaska with. It seems as if there is much that is still debated about the story, but it all seemed very plausible and made for an interesting listen. Now I want to watch a couple of those movies and learn a little more about this story.
