Georgina's son seems to have an imaginary new Granny, yet that little voice inside her is telling her its something more. Haunted by a series of incidents that leave her wondering if she is imagining things or if she really does need to take a more drastic route to figure out what's really going on. Without the support of her husband, Bren, she finds herself searching for answers, alone, while trying to defend her own sanity.
This book sucked me in from page one and I had a tough time putting it down. Suspenseful and addictive, I was left questioning everything and I never saw the final twist coming. This was my first book by Rachel Ryan but I very much enjoyed this book and I'll surely be back for more!
It's good in the sense of ‘gets you questioning what's real' instead of immediately dismissing what's happening as it happens in other books. Second guessing is good, lol. It's also good in the sense of showing the many flaws every single person has in such a naked way. I'm constantly annoyed by perfect characters/villains/heroes. And the twist, albeit very sad, is interesting, unexpected and makes sense.
