I really enjoyed this one! I grew up in Michigan and knew about some of the history behind this, but only a bare minimum. The story was well-written, descriptive but not so overdone that you get mired in pages of minutiae. The characters (based on real life characters, as I understand it from the author's notes) were all written believably. The history was well researched, and still presented in such a way that didn't come off dry or lecturing. Highly recommend this one.
