In general, I'm not a fan of celebrity authors. You're a good basketball player? Play basketball. Good actor? Act. Don't try to write I book, I say.

This one is not bad. It's serendipitous (though I must say it's disappointing that Bell has her character denigrate Brussel sprouts. C'mon. Brussel sprouts are amazing.) And these aren't normal times. We could all use a bit more purple in our lives.

Bell suggests you can become a purple person by (1) asking really great questions; (2) laughing a lot; (3) using your voice; (4) being a really hard worker; and (5) being totally you. I'm not terribly sure about 3, 4, and 5, but I do like 1 and 2.
