I re-read this one A LOT, and I love it more each and every time I do!
Jessa knew that she shouldn't, but who knew she would end up keeping their secret?
It was a chance meeting at a bad time for Burke and Cole Lennox. They were undercover in a human trafficking operation, but there Jessa was and it was only supposed to be for a night. One night leads to two. The boys were hooked and so was Jessa. They were supposed to come back for her. They were supposed to love her. They were not supposed to disappear.
Now she is in trouble and her husband can't protect her and her baby. The boys ride into the rescue only to find that nothing is as it seems. They brought the trouble to her door. She has not forgiven them. Nor has she forgotten them. Chemistry has not forgotten them either. As they run for their lives, Jessa fights to keep her anger and the boys fight their desires.
The team of Shayla Black and Lexi Blake brings us the second book of the “Masters of Menage) with Their Virgin's Secret (2011). As the throuple run for their lives, everyone takes a turn remembering the past, but mainly we see the events through Jessa's eyes. Black and Blake do gives us the guys viewpoints which allows us to see that they truly love Jessa which keeps us going through Jessa's feelings of betrayal. Plus the chemistry is amazing. (laugh)
Black and Blake, singularly, always write great sex scenes and together is no different. I have seen reviews tagged with “BDSM”, but I would not state that at all. There is normal sex play, especially for menage, but no BDSM. The scenes involve lovemaking more than sex, but I would not say romance either. (laugh) The sex is good - does that work? (laugh)
Their Virgin's Secret is a great read if you are looking for a romantic suspense. It has action, sex, and a happy ending. One cannot ask for more than that...well except for more Black and Blake.
