Esquith was teaching in a school he
euphemistically calls Camelot when
he had a life-changing moment and
made the move to a school he refers
to as the Jungle. He
has been wildly successful there by,
primarily, making the students in
his classes work hard. I've spent time
in Camelot, too, but that was many years
ago. Lately, I find myself thinking about
going back into the schools. I've always
wanted to teach in the Jungle
(go figure!), so
it was good timing to read this account
of Esquith's difficulties and successes.
